EYELASH EXTENSIONS

So I wear eyelash extensions and i must admit I'm completely converted.

They last on average 3-4 weeks depending on how well you care for them and how often you wear eye makeup. They require brushing twice a day and washing once a week. They just fall out when your natural lashes fall out. On average you loose about 1-5 lashes a day which sounds like a lot but you barely notice it. If you do wear eye makeup on a regular basis this will accelerate the lash shedding due to removing makeup.

My older sister Lacy's lashes does them professionally and offered to put a full set on me! They honestly are amazing! Such a time saver in the mornings. If you have sensitive eyes they can take a few days to get used to but after a few hours you forget they are there.

Lashes come in all different lengths, thicknesses, colours and styles. You can customise and personalise them however you would like. In the picture below I have a classic set of lashes, the only thing I asked for is that the inner corner is shorter than the outer lashes.

If you're interested in lashes my advice would be do some research on lash technicians in you're area, get some feedback from previous clients and look at pictures of their work. Lashes can cost up to £120 a set, they do not come cheap so it's worth doing your research first. If you've had experience of being sensitive or allergic to glue or lash glue then make sure your lash technician knows this and takes the time to apply the lashes with care, if they rush or don't take care you make experience discomfort. This won't stop you getting lashes but may affect the durability and experience. Lacy will ask you all the relevant questions before and ensure you are comfortable before starting. Most technicians do a glue patch test before or just get you to sign a disclaimer.
